Terms of Service

1. What ProposeDate is

ProposeDate is a web service that lets you create a date proposal, share it via a unique link, and receive a structured response from the recipient. The service is provided as-is, subject to these terms.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old to use ProposeDate. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Free and premium plans

• Free plan — proposal links are valid for 7 days. Access to standard questionnaire types.
• Premium plan — proposal links are valid for 30 days, access to all questionnaire types, proposal history, and future premium features. Billed monthly at the current rate shown at checkout.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers.

4. Payments and cancellation

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ProposeDate to:

• Harass, intimidate, or send unwanted proposals to people who have not consented
• Send proposals containing illegal, abusive, or offensive content
• Attempt to hack, overload, or otherwise disrupt the service
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Use the service for any commercial purpose without our written consent

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you create (proposal messages, etc.). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content solely to deliver the service. We do not use your content for any other purpose.

7. Our responsibility

ProposeDate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

• The outcome of any proposal (we can't guarantee a yes!)
• Service interruptions or data loss beyond our control
• Actions taken by recipients of your proposals

Our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

9. Changes to the service

We may modify or discontinue features of the service at any time. For significant changes affecting paid users, we will provide at least 30 days notice.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Italy. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
